CLAW keeps evidence and uncertainty visible.

CLAW is Langosta's original research framework. It separates four research dimensions and refuses to turn missing evidence silently into a score.

  • Does deployed code exist at the declared address?
  • Are upgrade, owner, pause, mint, blacklist, custody, and external-call controls disclosed?
  • Are audits published and traceable to the audited version?
  • Are privileged addresses visible?

Liquidity & Market Structure

  • Where does liquidity exist and how concentrated is it?
  • What are the lock, withdrawal, and counterparty conditions?
  • Are volume and depth sources timestamped?
  • Is token supply and market structure disclosed?

Activity & Adoption

  • Are contracts used by distinct addresses?
  • Is activity persistent rather than a one-day spike?
  • Does the project have active applications or integrations?
  • Are usage definitions and Sybil limitations disclosed?

Web3 Governance & Transparency

  • Are team, governance, treasury, permissions, incidents, and documentation disclosed?
  • Can important claims be tied to public evidence?
  • Are change histories and risks communicated?
  • Are missing facts labelled instead of guessed?

Evidence coverage

A separate measure, not a confidence trick.

Each applicable pillar records its source, type, evidence timestamp, retrieval timestamp, confidence, applicability, and status: verified, partial, unavailable, or conflicting.
